PRN LPN/ RN
CCMH has an immediate opening for a full-time LPN/RN PRN for CCMH. This position will provide assistance to the new clinic physician. Duties and responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Include but are not limited to:
• Room patients and obtain vital signs (BP, temperature, weight, height, etc.)
• Assist provider with assessments by gathering basic health data in person or via phone
• Document patient assessments, care instructions, and follow-up appointments accurately
• Assist with procedures, exams, and operation of diagnostic equipment as directed
• Maintain cleanliness of patient care areas; follow aseptic techniques for procedures and medication administration
• Perform basic equipment maintenance; identify problems and coordinate necessary repairs
• Scribe for provider within EMR system, if requested, and assist with document review/signing
• Confirm patient understanding and agreement with treatment plan and follow-up instructions
• Assist with registration, phone calls, scanning, and general clerical duties when necessary
• Ensure timely and accurate communication and reporting of patient results
• Be available throughout the provider’s full patient schedule; may require prolonged sitting or standing
• Administer vaccinations or over-the-counter medications and perform basic wound care as required
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient health information (PHI)
• Adhere to all CCMH protocols, regulatory requirements, and applicable ethical standards
• Ensure compliance with Medicare “Conditions of Participation” and other regulatory bodies
Required Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:
• Unrestricted Missouri LPN or RN licensure w/minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical clinic setting
• Ability to maneuver through EMR systems to effectively finalize referrals and pre-authorizations and to document/chart patient information
• Must be able to effectively demonstrate use of nursing standards of care
• Must have excellent communication skills and follow-through abilities
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day while operating a video display terminal and phone system
• Moderate to high work load; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
• Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers; dexterity, vision, hearing, and speaking abilities within normal ranges
