No Surprise Act Statement

The No Surprises Act is a federal law that protects consumers from unexpected out-of-network medical bills for emergency services and certain non-emergency care provided at an in-network facility. It went into effect on January 1, 2022, and prevents providers from “balance billing” patients for out-of-network care in these situations. Instead, patients are only responsible for their in-network cost-sharing, like co-payments & deductibles.
