Community Health Fair Returns for Second Year

October 17, 2026 -Cedar County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) hosted its second annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, Oct. 17, offering free health screenings and resources to residents in conjunction with the Wayside Inn Museum Chili Cookoff. The fair was held next to the cookoff so attendees could enjoy both events in one stop.

Free services included lab testing, bone density screening, blood pressure checks and physical ability screenings including balance, grip and mobility. Visitors could also meet with local health organizations and learn about services available in the community.

CCMH was joined by co-sponsors Cedar County Health Department, Evans Drug Pharmacy, Katie’s House, On My Own, Physician’s Medical Equipment and Supplies, Carrie Chapman – Senior Benefit Services and St. Croix Hospice, along with several other health industry organizations. Sponsors also provided more than 20 prizes for attendees, including kids’ bikes, $50 gift cards, toys, blankets, books and more.

Younger visitors had a special attraction of their own. Cedar County Ambulance and the El Dorado Springs Fire Department brought their trucks and gave kids tours.

Cedar County Memorial thanks its co-sponsors, partner organizations and everyone who stopped by to take a step toward better health.
