When you donate to Cedar County Memorial Hospital in support of cancer care, your gift stays right here in our community. These funds are used to improve patient care and provide support and small comforts for local cancer patients, so they can receive comforting, compassionate care close to home.

100 Kits of Comfort

Help us put together comfort kits for our cancer patients. Our goal is 100 kits, and we need your help to reach it.

We are accepting the following items now through December 20:
- Blankets
- Socks
- Hats
- Tote bags
- Adult coloring books and colored pencils or markers
- Books
- Puzzles or other handheld activities

Items should be new and unused, with the exception of books.

Donations may be dropped off at Cedar County Memorial Hospital, El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce or the Home Store in El Dorado Springs, or at the Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Sponsor a Comfort Kit

$40 sponsors one complete kit, but any gift helps us bring comfort to a neighbor facing cancer. We are grateful for every contribution.

Handwritten Notes

A handwritten note of encouragement is not required, but it is a wonderful way to brighten someone's day. A few kind words can mean so much to someone going through cancer treatment. If you would like to include a note with your donation or your comfort kit items, we will make sure it reaches a patient.
