Human Resources Clerk
CCMH has an opening for a full-time Human Resources Clerk. Duties and responsibilities for this position will include 1) Assist in applicant review and process flow, setting up interviews, and reference checking of selected job candidates; learn and participate in interview process as directed; 2) Schedule, coordinate and engage in the new employee orientation process as directed by supervisor; 3) Assist in the compilation and processing of employee documentation and records and keep employee personnel files up-to-date and current at all times; 4) Gather data and compile and prepare HR and/or personnel reports; 5) Assist with formulating and updating of policies and procedures as well as the communication of updates to employees; 6) Assist in the tracking and documentation of employee attendance, PTO, as well as worker’s compensation claims, benefit enrollments and COBRA processes
Successful candidates will have a 1) minimum HS diploma or GED with preference given to higher education or HR credentials; 2) be highly computer literate with capabilities in email, MS Office, and other current-day related business communication tools and resources; 3) have excellent written and verbal communication skills with high-level organizational and time management skills, advanced documentation skills; 4) be familiar with and have utilized online recruiting platforms; 5) the ability to accurately follow instructions with strong attention to facts and details and have strong interpersonal and conflict-management skills; 6) the ability to complete assigned tasks without direct supervision; and 7) be a self-starter, team-orientated, goal-focused with a working knowledge of HR functions and federal regulations.
