Nurse Manager
CCMH has an opening for a full-time NURSE MANAGER in our Med/Surg and Emergency Departments. This leadership role ensures clinical excellence, staff development, and patient-centered care. As part of the Nursing Leadership Team, this role includes some on-call responsibilities and collaboration in decision-making.
Duties and responsibilities for this position will include 1) Supervise and mentor nursing staff while managing daily clinical operations; 2) Lead staff scheduling, retention strategies, and staff performance evaluation; 3)Monitor quality metrics and patient outcomes; develop and report improvement plans; 4) Maintain and annually review nursing policies and procedures; 5)Collaborate on staff education, onboarding, and regulatory compliance; 6) Serve on the nursing leadership on-call rotation and as a clinical resource. Qualified candidates will have current, unrestricted RN license (Missouri or compact state); minimum 5 years clinical experience, with 2+ years in nursing leadership; Med/Surg or Emergency Department background required; BLS, ACLS, PALS required (Instructor status preferred) and strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
