Summertime!
What a great time to be in Cedar County!
Boating on Stockton Lake, golfing at Gene Pray Memorial or Stockton Country Club, and just chilling and grilling in your backyard. Summer is an excellent time to be outdoors and enjoying life.
Our area offers us the chance to get some fresh air and sunshine, but please be aware that too much sun and activities can lead to an Emergency Room visit, if we aren’t careful.

Be sure to drink plenty of water, wear your sunscreen, and don’t spend too much time in the heat. Take a break when mowing the yard or tending your garden. Take time to smell the flowers or have a seat in your favorite lawn chair.
